Anindita Bose Art x TBP Tote

Anindita Bose is an actor and artist living between Bombay and Calcutta. Her illustrations use themes of vibrancy and female celebration.

As proud Calcuttans this collaboration is a perfect fit; we see it as an homage to Calcutta - of nostalgia and rumination, of day dreaming and sentimentality, and of vitality and wonder.

The majesty of the krishnachura flowers, bright colours that represent the spirit of the city, and the woman who in Anindita’s words, “ is a celebration of self acceptance despite her imperfections” all stand as symbols for the buoyancy of this wild and wonderful city.
